Ravens lose 23-19 when they fail to finish a potential game winning drive.

The Ravens offense comes out on fire under new OC Marty Mornhinweg scoring on their first two series. The offense is more balanced this week and RB Terrance West rushes for over 100 yards and two touchdowns. Joe Flacco adds two more scores through the air including one to Breshad Perriman.
The defense answers the bell by making Giants QB Eli Manning one-dimensional and the secondary bends but doesn’t break. Manning will find the end zone twice but Dean Pees and company limit the big plays.
Justin Tucker continues his perfect streak of field goals this season.
Ravens 31, Giants 17

This week should tell us more about who the Ravens truly are. The Giants are coming off a couple of bad losses themselves. The Ravens have a new OC who should allow the offense to do what they do best and will give them a jolt.
Playing the stats alone, if the Ravens stick to their averages and score 18, they win. If the Giants stick to their average of turning the ball over, the Ravens win.
If the defense can put pressure on Eli Manning and if Joe Flacco and the offense don’t turn the ball over, they should win this game.
The Ravens should make themselves at home, as they will be at Met Life Stadium for the next two weeks.
Ravens win 21-17.

The Ravens offense had less than a week to adjust to a new coordinator. Injuries are also a major factor for the first time this season as some key contributors could miss this week. They’re on the road and this seems like a game they should lose but I think they’ll come out with a win.
Ravens fans weren’t too familiar with Marty Mornhinweg before this week but one thing is clear: he’s an energetic guy, which is something the offense desperately needed.
Dennis Pitta was blunt, this offense was in a bad place and a change was desperately needed. They seemed lethargic and disinterested. I don’t think Mornhinweg will fix everything but I do think you’ll see a noticeable difference.
Ravens do enough to escape game one of the doubleheader at the MetLife stadium with a win.

Breshad Perriman finally unlocks some of his potential and emerges amid a banged up receiver corps, with 6 catches for 120 and a toe-tapping touchdown. But the story of the day is the Ravens rushing attack, which gains 210 yards behind Terrence West and an increasingly healthy Kenneth Dixon.
Devin Hester drops another punt and is without a job on Monday morning.
The defense gives up a bomb early to OBJ and the crowd erupts. But the Ravens unit settles in thereafter, generating 2 turnovers, 5 sacks, and holding the G-Men to a 4-13 mark on third down conversions.

Derek Arnold
Injuries are starting to catch up to the Ravens, especially on the OL, but they’ll also sorely miss C.J. Mosley. Throw in a new OC and a road game, and this seems like a sure loss. I like it as the ol’ reverse lock though. When a coach is fired, players like to prove that it really was him that was the problem, and not them. Give me the visitors, 17-16. A Justin Tucker 45-yard FG as time expires wins it.

Tough, close games are the Ravens’ forte, so naturally Sunday’s game feels like it’ll come down to the wire.
Look for the Ravens offense to be sparked by their new OC, but don’t expect everything to run smoothly.
If Baltimore can get to Eli Manning and make him hurry up his progressions, they’ll be in good shape. But if Manning has time to survey the defense, Odell Beckham, Jr. and Sterling Shepard will both have very big days.
Ravens 23 Giants 20

As injury-riddled as the Ravens offense is right now, the Giants have only mustered 2 picks on the season – both last week vs Green Bay – and no Fumble recoveries. While Joe may be pressured more than he’d like this Sunday, the offense will move and they will score. I like Joe for 220 yds, hitting pay dirt twice and a pick for good measure. The RBBC (running back by committee) combines for another score and 175 yards because my main man Marty Mornhinweg? He knows the word ‘balance,’ and how to attack weaknesses, not just stick to a game plan.
The secondary will appear to shut down the Giants passing attack, but that will be due to up-front pressure finally waking up. A two-sack game for Jernigan, a forced fumble by Brent Urban, and a pick for Jimmy Smith – who will get flagged for taunting OBJ after the play – will finally show the team firing on all cylinders.
