Since the days of Ravens247.com, we have delivered Ravens news, insight and opinion from the perspective of a fan. We’re blessed in a sense because we are fans with access. It’s a position we don’t take lightly.
Over the years we’ve hosted radio shows, made countless guest appearances and even hosted The Bart Scott Show back in 2007 when Della Rose’s existed down in Canton at the old First Mariner building. This Saturday, we are going back to the airwaves to discuss things that affect sports fans, particularly you crazy sports fans here in the Baltimore area. You know them. Perhaps you are one.
The show will cover local area sports. It will cover the fans dedicated to those sports – the places they go, the things they do, the sports bars they prefer, the road trips they take and the way they celebrate their team during the week, during tailgates, during life.
What bars cover the Ravens the best? Who hosts the best tailgates? Where are the best sports related events hosted in and around town?
Of course, we’ll drill down on team information and bring in great guests who will shed new light on the games you love. We know what you want in radio programming because we’re one of you.
It was once said to me that whether on radio or on the web at Russell Street Report or Eutaw Street Report that we seem to go out of our way to NOT be mainstream. This keen-eyed observer was spot on.
There’s plenty of mainstream coverage out there. We want to be a little edgier; a little more fan-centric; a little more downstream.
We are The Fanimal!
