Carr Cares and EVERFI School Visit

Ravens CB Brandon Carr and members of the Carr Cares Foundation are teaming up with EVERFI Inc. to present the Healthier Me – Wellness Fundamentals program to students at Glenmount Elementary School. On Monday (12/10), Carr will speak to students about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, physical activity and his vision for the Healthier Me program as an integral part of the Carr Cares Foundation’s initiatives.

EVERFI Inc.’s Healthier Me is an innovative, games-based digital course that educates elementary school students about the importance of well-balanced meals and physical activity, preparing them to make healthy, informed decisions when it comes to nutrition and fitness and securing healthier, happier futures for the next generation.

Samaritan’s Feet Shoes of Hope Distribution

On Monday (12/10), several Ravens players, including WR John Brown, LS Morgan Cox, RB Kenneth Dixon and LB Kenny Young will participate in a Shoes of Hope distribution alongside Samaritan’s Feet and Dunbar High School student athletes at Collington Square Elementary/Middle School.

Shoes of Hope is a shoe distribution initiative run through Samaritan’s Feet, an organization that provides individuals in need with a new pair of shoes and socks. Students from the school will have their feet washed by the players and other volunteers and will subsequently be provided with their new shoes and socks.
