Below is a list of Ravens Gameday info pertaining to Thursday night’s Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets nationally-televised (FOX) game at M&T Bank Stadium (8:20 p.m. kickoff):
Baltimore’s offense will be introduced. For the second time this season, during introductions the Ravens will incorporate their new LED stadium lights system to create a unique sequence of lighting effects and a “blackout” moment. (Note: The Ravens will wear their black jerseys on Thursday.) Fireworks will also be shot off from the stadium’s upper bowl ring just before kickoff.
Seven Maryland high school state championship football teams will be honored on-field and help form a gauntlet for player introductions
Mixed Reality Technology
Prior to kickoff and at several points throughout the game, the Ravens will debut a first-of-its-kind “mixed reality” technology that gives fans the ability to view animations interacting with the stadium in real time.
Mishael Miller, who served as the Ravens’ primary national anthem singer from 1996-2013, makes a special return to sing the anthem.
Ravens Legend of the Game
Former WR Steve Smith Sr. will serve as the Ravens Legend of the Game. In 37 games as a Raven, Smith Sr. recorded the eighth-most catches (195) and 10th-most receiving yards (2,534) in team history. Helping lead Baltimore to the playoffs in 2014, he compiled 79 catches for 1,065 yards and six touchdowns.
Baltimore will announce its Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee in the second quarter. Additionally, the Ravens will honor the WNBA champion Washington Mystics during a first-quarter break. Elena Delle Donne (league MVP), Tianna Hawkins (a Maryland grad) and Kristi Toliver (a Maryland grad) will be in attendance for the moment of recognition.
During halftime, the Ravens will announce and recognize their 2019 High School Coach of the Year. Additionally, there will be a performance by the fan-favorite “All-Star Stunt Dogs” (frisbee dogs).
Each fan attending the game will receive a special Ravens LED baton upon entering the stadium.
