Wednesday is here! Wednesday is here! Time for some good ole fashion Twitter gossip and feel-good posts from the Twitter-verse.

Before we start, let’s appreciate how this Baltimore Ravens team rallied despite giving up four offensive turnovers and playing some of its sloppiest football I’ve ever seen. Truly, this game was U-G-L-Y, and yet somehow the Ravens won. They did it with the best defensive performance they’ve had this year; they absolutely locked down the Cleveland Browns offense and particularly the NFL’s number one ranked rushing attack. The monster that is Nick Chubb played more like Bruce Banner than he did the Hulk. It was surreal to see a defense that had been roadkill for much of the season buckle down and hold the Browns offense to just 10 points.

Were the Browns an elite offense? Far from it, but considering they had four extra possessions courtesy of Lamar Jackson, it was remarkable.

All in all, it was a great win and an even more important AFC North divisional win. Now with that out of the way, let’s enjoy some Twitter-time in this edition of Out to Lunch!

We start with the obvious: It’s Steelers week. Any Ravens fan knows that #RavensFlock HATES everything about the Pittsburgh Steelers and we can’t wait to take them down after being swept in 2020. But in case anyone has forgotten, here’s a gentle reminder of that time C.J. Mosley INT that thrashed the Steelers 2018 playoff hopes:

This moment was surreal, to say the least. It was one of the moments that you’ll always remember and treasure and consequently, Mosley will have a special place in our collective heart. It was perhaps the biggest moment of Mosley’s career and a defining moment in the Lamar Jackson-era.

Here’s some more feel-good moments from the Ravens v. Steelers rivalry:

We love to see Lamar Jackson making elite defenders look silly, and that’s what he pulled off here against one of the league’s best defenders, T.J. Watt. This will go on Jackson’s career highlight reel when his tenure in the NFL is done.

Sports Grind Radio has some harsh opinions about this upcoming game:

Can’t say we don’t love to hear it. Baltimore is definitely a step above Pittsburgh, but they can’t get over-confident heading into this game. Games are won on the field and not on paper. The Ravens should easily outmatch the Steelers, but all these thoughts and opinions won’t matter until the players suit up and go to war this Sunday.

With that being said, I do like our chances and I’m glad I’m not alone!

Checking back on the top-graded Baltimore Ravens via PFF:

The top-two remain the same, so let’s not waste our breath there. However, let’s give some love to the edge rushing duo of Tyus Bowser and Justin Houston. A lot of fans were disappointed that Baltimore prioritized re-signing Bowser over Matt Judon and Yannick Ngakoue, who are both having stellar seasons. However, Bowser shouldn’t be slept on anymore and he currently paces the Ravens with a career-best 5.5 sacks with six games to go.

Bowser may flirt with double-digits by seasons end. His running mate is no slouch, either, as Houston has proven to be the steady veteran Baltimore believed they were signing. His four sacks place him third on the team behind Bowser and rookie Odafe Oweh. As for Hollywood, we all know that he’s been outstanding this year and deserves a Pro Bowl nod.

In case you missed it, here is a quick exchange between Patrick Queen and Lamar Jackson during Sunday night’s endeavors:

This is what being brothers, not teammates, is all about. In a night where Jackson was struggling mightily to put it nicely, his defense had his back and Queen assured his quarterback that they would lift him up while he was clearly down. Props to Queen for backing his quarterback. The Ravens share an uncommon bond, enabled by a winning and family-like culture that the franchise has created.

An update from our favorite tattoo project:

The Baltimore Ravens are (8-3) now and this dude is committed to his tattoos still. Here’s hoping that he gets nine more to end the year!

Oh! Before we go, would you look at that!

Number one seed in the AFC, eh? Not bad… not bad at all.

Enjoy your afternoon, Ravens Flock!
