The Ravens got some good news Wednesday when reinforcements finally arrived. That good news continued on Thursday, believe it or not:
RT Morgan Moses (shoulder) was back on practice field for Ravens. Only two players not practicing were OLB Odafe Oweh (ankle) and DB Daryl Worley (shoulder).

Moses was a big part of why the offense was successful early on, and his presence was missing when he went down in the Browns game. He still might not go on Sunday, but it is nice to see him back at practice so soon. At this point, we are still waiting on Odafe Oweh and Tyus Bowser, but with Jadeveon Clowney playing so well and the emergence of Kyle Van Noy, the Ravens have generated some pass rush even when they don’t blitz, which has been a nice development.
Need more music to your ears? We gotchu…
Ronnie Stanley said there’s a “strong possibility” he plays Sunday. He’s missed last 3 games with knee sprain

Oh yeah, it is all coming together. If they get Ronnie Stanley back, this could be exactly the kind of week we’ve been waiting for, injury-wise. It has been a tough stretch, but the news from practice lately has been a breath of fresh air. The Ravens are 3-1, 2-0 in the division, and the reinforcements are coming!
Here’s the full report:
Ravens practice report:
FULL: Bateman (hamstring); Stanley (knee); M. Williams (pec); Armour-Davis (hamstring)
LIMITED: OBJ (ankle); Hill (foot/hamstring); Moses (shoulder); Humphrey (foot)
DNP: Oweh (ankle); Worley (shoulder)— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) October 5, 2023
The guys practicing in full have a good chance of playing on Sunday. I wouldn’t expect Marlon Humphrey back this week, as the Ravens will probably keep him out. Odell Beckham is the biggest X factor to me. Considering that this was his first week back at practice, and he’s limited, I wouldn’t expect him to play.
Could we see the team at near-full health soon? We can dream, can’t we?
Mike Macdonald is going to do some nasty things Sunday
— Yuri (@MR___Yuri) October 5, 2023
Mike Macdonald having another great week will be very helpful, obviously, but just thinking of the potential of this defense fully healthy is horrifying for other teams.
Another point to be made is that Lamar will have to beat some demons on Sunday:
Lamar Jackson has started 17 games vs. the Bengals and Browns and the Ravens are 14-3 in those contests. But the Steelers? It's a much smaller sample size, but those games haven't gone so well for Jackson or the Ravens. The QB gets another chance Sunday:https://t.co/O7UsA6h7N6

To be fair to Lamar, he has only started a few games against the Steelers, but they have given him problems. Now, with his weapons, Todd Monken calling a better game, and a healthy O-line, Lamar will have his opportunity to beat his personal boogie man.
The Ravens are slowly but surely getting healthy with an impressive 3-1 record and could go 3-0 in the AFC North (on the road!) to start the season.
Finally, it’s set to be a huge weekend in Baltimore, and the teams rooting for one another should make everyone in Birdland/RavensFlock proud.
