Derrick Henry Makes History on SNF

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Derrick Henry set a franchise record for the longest rush in team history on Sunday night on his way to amassing 199 yards on the ground.

Todd Monken deployed just about every rushing concept in the book and the offensive line and tight ends dominated the point of attack.

What got this running game going? We break it down?

  1. 9 whole snaps for Von Miller. Great game plan and execution.

A studly run game masks deficiencies in pass protection. We’ll see what happens if the Ravens get down a couple scores and don’t have time for the run game to bring them home. This is what happens with teams like KC, where the coaches don’t want to get down a couple scores to a high-powered offense so they abandon the run early.
