For years he’s teased Ravens fans that he’d do it – and now its been done.
Torrey Smith cut off his dreadlocks.
The third-year receiver decided to chop off his signature dreadlocks because he was just, “getting tired of them” as he stated on Twitter.
Not only will the 205-pound wideout likely weigh a few pounds less when he reports to the Under Armour Performance Center for workouts, he’ll probably need a new helmet as well. Smith’s hair became a major talking point during his rookie season as he was tackled from behind by a beaten Bengals’ cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones who prevented a possible touchdown while using Smith’s dreads like he was in a calf-roping competition.

Thanks to posts from Smith’s fiancé Chanel Williams’ Instagram account, she was able to chronicle the new-look Torrey from start to finish.
What do you think of the new look?
It looks like our friends at Maryland’s Team will have to come up with a new shirt design. These were really cool while they lasted.
