In exactly four days the Ravens will have to trim their roster to 53 players. The cuts this year will be difficult and the Ravens may expose and risk losing permanently some young players that have shown signs of promise.
In exactly five days, the Ravens front office can exhale as some of those promising players will clear waivers and become part of the Ravens 8 man practice squad. Which ones will fly under the radar remains to be seen but the hope here is that players like Edgar Jones, Kendrick Ballantyne, Marcus Freeman, and Evan Oglesby will still be available on Sunday.
Until that day of hopeful relief (September 2) the Turk looms and from my seat here’s how I see the Ravens 53 man roster shaking out.
