Veteran free agent offensive tackle Barry Sims is expected to decide today whether he`ll sign with the St. Louis Rams or the San Francisco 49ers.
The former Oakland Raiders starter visited the Ravens` training complex recently and had Baltimore among his three finalists, but is leaning toward choosing either the Rams or the 49ers.
Both teams have made ¨solid“ offers with similar total value, according to Ken Vierra, Sims` agent.
The opportunity for playing time or a potential starting job appears to be much stronger for Sims in St. Louis or San Francisco as Baltimore is committed to opening training camp with Jared Gaither and Adam Terry starting at left and right tackle, respectively.
