Here are the most interesting stories in the AFC North:

Morning take: It’s now or never for the 2008 second-round pick. Simpson needs to continue to show what he can do consistently to make the 53-man roster this year.

  • Baltimore Ravens fullback Le’Ron McClain cleared up his recent statements on Twitter, saying he wants more carries but isn’t trying to supplant tailback Ray Rice.

Morning take: McClain got 232 carries in 2008 and just 46 in 2009. Somewhere in between would probably do the trick.

Morning take: Cleveland has a better chance of keeping LeBron James than hosting a Super Bowl. It’s not happening.

Morning take: It’s a long offseason. But at some point you start to wonder when Dennis Dixon will get a look with the starters.
