We have an interesting "Take your pick" segment in the AFC North blog. This week, we ask our community who is the better quarterback: Carson Palmer or Joe Flacco?
Both players led their teams to the playoffs last season and are expected to compete again in 2010 for the division title.
The Cincinnati Bengals bolstered their offense around Palmer, 30, by signing receiver Antonio Bryant in free agency and drafting tight end Jermaine Gresham and receiver Jordan Shipley. For Flacco, 25, Baltimore added three-time Pro Bowl receiver Anquan Boldin, as well as signing Donte’ Stallworth and drafting two rookie tight ends in Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta.
Palmer and Flacco played well last year but struggled down the stretch. With this type of firepower, the expectation is that both quarterbacks play well for the entire season.
So take your pick between these two AFC North quarterbacks. You can send your comments below, to our division inbox or the AFC North Twitter page. We will run the best responses throughout the week.
