OWINGS MILLS — Baltimore Ravens veteran wide receiver Lee Evans returned to practice today after spending time last week with his left foot in a walking boot.
Evans is expected to start against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"We were doing precautionary things," Evans said. "You have to stay on top of things. It was good to be out there today.
"Yeah, it as good to come out here and run on it and see where it’s at. We’ll see how it reacts in the next couple of days."
Evans said he responded well in practice with normal mobility.
"I was able to run and move and cut and made a few plays," he said. "It was just good to get out there and run around."
Evans said the rest did the trick.
"Yeah absolutely," he said. "Any rest you can get during this season is welcome. It was good to rest a little bit but it’s good to be back out here."
