Ah, the sweet sight of a sellout crowd at a football stadium right before kickoff! Too bad there isn’t going to be one of those on Monday Night! The Jacksonville Tarps will be seen as an almost empty stadium will watch the Jaguars get owned by the Ravens. Remember how the Jaguars were almost OUR expansion team? I think we made out ok Baltimore!
This should be an easy game however, we cannot allow the Tennessee game to repeat itself. We cannot afford to be embarrassed on national television. The Jaguars are 1-5, and the Ravens are 4-1, this should be like adding 2 and 2. Not so fast, even though Jacksonville is horrible, we still need a plan.
On Offense
This is the only phase of tonight’s game where there’s reason for concern. The Jaguars actually have a very good defense. The key for this game is to not let the Jaguars be in the game because the Ravens offense is dead in the water. The way to solve the defense is Ray Rice. Give him the ball through the air, and on the ground. For this to be executed, Cam Cameron has to be on board. Ray Rice needs the ball, but we cannot go with Rice up the middle every time we get in the Red Zone. So bottom line Cam, GET CREATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
On Defense
Do we even need to worry about this? The Jaguars have the last ranked passing offense, and a rookie quarterback. It’s a match made in heaven, a bad offense vs. a great defense. All we really need to do to stop the Jags is to stop MJD, and pressure Gabbert. If it means anything, Ron Jaworski said that he has not seen a defense as good as the 2011 Ravens defense, since their defense from 2000.
