Cam…….

What are you doing? What are you trying to prove? 52 pass plays? 12 running plays?

C’MON MAN!

You have one of the BEST running backs in the league. I don’t care if the defense is ranked number one or number thirty-two, you cannot abandon the cornerstone to the offense and expect to win.

Let’s be honest here shall we? You are most likely going to be gone after this season, or at least the majority of fans hope and expect you to be, so why not use this time to win a ring and make a case for you to go haunt some other team next season.

You coach for a team that has a defense with multiple Hall of Famers on it that are more than capable of giving your offense a decent chance to win any game. You could and should be undefeated right now. This Seattle game was one of the worst coached games I have had the displeasure of seeing from you.  You had Ray Rice run the ball 5 times, and he didn’t even fumble this week. Was the Seahawks 4-3 really that intimidating that you had to throw the ball 52 times?

The last time I checked the Ravens had a better defense than the Seahawks yet they continued to run the ball with Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch and he amassed over 100 yards on us, breaking the century mark back to back for the first time in his career. Now, I’m no NFL scout but last time I checked Ray Rice was a better running back than Lynch and has had much more success in a shorter career.

So tell me Cam what did Ray do that caused you to put him in the dog house? I am dying to know what he could have possibly done to earn only 5 carries. You should have just pulled an Andy Reid and deactivated him altogether like Desean Jackson, at least then you would have had an excuse for not using him.

I understand a lot of things went wrong in Seattle and David Reed played a large part in why the Ravens started in the hole early, but Joe is no Tom Brady. It’s not realistic for him to throw the ball that many times and expect a win when you run such an unbalanced offense.  On a day when a lot of things go wrong go back to your basics and the one person who has never let you down and you would be sitting at 7-2 rather than 6-3.

One last side note and this is the part that baffles me more than anything…

For John Harbaugh to say at his post-game press conference that he was “unaware” about the amount of carries ray Rice got is just unacceptable. This is the same head coach that weeks ago after the loss in Jacksonville said that, “we will get Ray more involved” ,and “Eight carries is never a winning formula for Ray Rice” so where was that mindset this week?

It all starts up top with the coaching and if the Head coach and Coordinators are going to be inconsistent why should we expect anything less from the players?
