Droves of Purple and Black faithful joined Terrell Suggs on
July 21 for the Grand Opening of the newest Poor Boy’s location in Abingdon.

In case you missed, our own Mandy Knight captured all the
sights and sounds – check out the video here.

But even if you weren’t there for the Grand Opening, that’s
no reason to not get off your butt and get out to Abingdon to check out the new
Poor Boy’s. You may think you know what Poor Boy’s is all about, from having
visited their great Dundalk or Parkville locations, but while those stores are
awesome in their own rights, the new location in Abingdon is, well…let’s say it’s
the Ray Lewis of Poor Boy’s stores.

Located at 2913 Emmorton Road (exit 77B off I95, right next to the famous Box
Hill Pizzeria), Poor Boys Sports is 5000 square feet of heaven for the
Baltimore sports fan.

At that size, maybe we should call it the Jonathan Ogden of
Poor Boy’s!

Pretty awesome, right? Honestly, photos don’t even really do it justice – the place is HUGE!

So what are you waiting for? Another crazy thunderstorm to
knock out your power so you have nothing better to do than go to Poor Boy’s
Sports to use their air conditioning? While if you are stuck without power,
there are probably a lot worse places to be than Poor Boy’s, I’d recommend not
hanging around for the next derecho to hit before making your way up to
Abingdon.

And, as if Poor Boy’s couldn’t get any better, coming in
September their new online store will be up and running, so you’ll be able to
shop right from the comfort of your man cave! Watch the Ravens stomp another
hapless opponent then go online to Poor Boy’s and stock up on your purple and
black gear.

What could be better?

Online store or not though, get out and see Poor Boy’s
Sports. You’ll be glad you did.
