Which wide receivers are good options for the Ravens?

Reading Time: < 1 minute

With the NFL Draft less than a week away, one position many Ravens fans are concerned about is wide receiver. With Anquan Boldin jettisoned to San Francisco, receiver does seem to be a concern.

Here are seven wideouts (one for every round) that could be available when the Ravens pick.

1. Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee
2. Quinton Patton, WR, Louisiana Tech
3. Aaron Dobson, WR, Marshall
4. Aaron Mellette, WR, Elon
5. Chris Harper, WR, Kansas State
6. Zach Rogers, WR, Tennessee
7. Mark Harrison, WR, Rutgers

Other Options

  • Ace Sanders, WR, South Carolina — He could go anywhere from the fourth to the sixth round.
  • Jasper Collins, WR, Mount Union — He should be selected on day three of the draft.
  • Marcus Davis, WR, Virginia Tech — He could be there during the sixth round.

Notes

  • I’d rather have Ace Sanders during the fourth round than Tavon Austin during the first round.
  • Keenan Allen, bad press and all, could be the best receiver in the draft.
  • How was Tennessee not a better offense with Cordarrelle Patterson, Justin Hunter and Zach Rogers at receiver and Tyler Bray at quarterback?
