KZ’s final 2013 Mock Draft

Share
Reading Time: 4 minutes

The final mock draft of 2013 is here. There is still some speculation about what Jacksonville may do with the second overall pick (could be an offensive tackle, quarterback or defensive end) and also what Kansas City will do with the No. 1 pick, but it will be Luke Joeckel or Eric Fisher.

I expect the top three offensive tackles to go within the first four picks. The Ravens are rumored to want Lane Johnson, an offensive tackle from Oklahoma, but that could cost them their first-, second-, fourth- and fifth-round picks this year, plus a first-rounder in 2014, to get that high. I have included my first-round predictions below, including some projected trades (team names in bold).

What do I know? Well, The Huddle Report, which actually grades these things, has me in the top 10 during the past five years. That and a nickel would get me five cents. Anyway, I love doing these and hope you enjoy.

I have come full circle on the Ravens’ first-round pick. I have Arthur Brown as a top 15 guy in this draft. Unless teams are keeping quiet about an injury or off-field issue I have not heard about, I find it crazy that many do not have him as a first-round selection. He is the best linebacker in the draft this year. Ravens fans should hope he is there to take at No. 32. I have not seen one expert or media person even speak of him to Baltimore, so I guess I am in my boat alone.
