Nothing like a bye week to get healthy. Before practice, John Harbaugh said that, for the first time all season, all 53 players on the Ravens’ active roster were to participate in practice. Of course, that 53-man active roster looks a bit different than it did two weeks ago as the team prepared to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the big news today was that the team cut veterans Michael Huff and Marcus Spears. Read more on those cuts here.
However, Harbaugh was mistaken, as Michael Oher sat practice out. In addition, “practicing” doesn’t necessarily imply “fully healthy,” so there were a couple more names on the Ravens’ report.
As for Cleveland, despite not yet having their bye (they get it next week after playing the Ravens and before taking on Cincinnati for the second time), they’re looking quite healthy. The Browns gave the undefeated Chiefs a good game last week, but haven’t won since Week 5, when a victory over Buffalo pushed them to 3-2. Veteran quarterback Jason Campbell makes his second start of 2013 this week against the Ravens.
Here are the full Wednesday practice injury reports for the teams.
