Ravens wide receiver Deonte Thompson has been arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, according to the Gainesville (Fla.) police department.
The arrest comes just a week after running back Ray Rice was arrested on a simple assault charge after a domestic dispute with his fiancee in a casino in New Jersey.
According to the Gainesville police report, Thompson was one of three people in a car that was stopped for driving without headlights. When the car was stopped, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car, and a bag with individual bags of marijuana was found inside, according to the report. The report also states that Thompson told police that he owned the bag but denied that any of the marijuana was his.
