INDIANAPOLIS — Alabama offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandijo’s draft stock likely took a hit when he struggled during the Crimson Tide’s Sugar Bowl loss to Oklahoma, and he hasn’t helped by his week in Indianapolis.
Kouandijo is widely regarded as one of the top tackle prospects in this year’s NFL draft and looked like a potential fit for the Ravens because of their need for help along the offensive line, but he tested out horribly Saturday and apparently failed his physical with several teams.
According to NFL.com, Kouandijo, a Hyattsville native, has an arthritic knee, stemming from a failed surgery.
He did still work out, but his 40-yard dash time (5.59 seconds) was the slowest among offensive line. He also got just 21 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press, which was tied for second-fewest among offensive linemen.
