Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Deonte Thompson is no longer facing drug charges in Florida.
Thompson was arrested Feb. 22 and charged with felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the original arrest report, Thompson was a passenger in a car that was stopped for not having its headlights on.
The arresting officer then noticed a strong smell of burned marijuana coming from the car, and a search revealed multiple bags of marijuana that weighed 29 grams in total inside a duffel bag that was owned by Thompson.
However, Thompson denied ownership of the drugs at the time, and the two charges against Thompson were dismissed this week due to insufficient evidence, according to court records.
