After dipping his toe in the free agent waters, wide receiver/return specialist Jacoby Jones returned to the Ravens just over two months ago.

It was clear when listening to him at his press conference upon his re-signing with the team his heart had never left Baltimore.

On Tuesday, Jones, along with his Jacoby Jones Foundation, was and about in the community giving back to students from Margaret Brent Elementary, Deer Park Middle Magnet School and City Neighbors Charter School.

Jones was on hand at the aforementioned schools to distribute over 300 digital tablets donated from his foundation. In an effort to support education and the students in the school system, Jones created a program to reward students who may not be able to afford access to educational tools that could help them succeed academically.

“In order to score big wins in life, these kids must choose daily to constantly devote themselves to educational success,” Jones stated via press release.

“For these students, equipping themselves with the educational tools to get that competitive edge is important. I am blessed to be in a position to provide access to technology. I also let them know that nobody can ever take your education away from you.”

Having the opportunity over the past five years to cover these great events in the community makes one thankful that the Ravens and their players do so much for folks who have so little.
