The Baltimore Ravens signed cornerbacks Aaron Ross and Dominique Franks on Thursday.
Both players confirmed signing on Twitter.
Multiple members of the Ravens’ organization had expressed interest throughout the offseason in adding competition for the nickel corner job vacated by Corey Graham. They have done so by adding Ross and Franks.
Ross and Franks were part of a group of six cornerbacks who worked out at Baltimore’s three-day mandatory minicamp this week.
Ross will be 32 in September, but he is a former first-round pick who has been a starting cornerback throughout his career.
He only played in four games with the New York Giants last season because of a back injury, but he had 60 tackles and four interceptions with the Giants in 2011 and started nine games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2012.
In Baltimore, Ross will be reunited with Ravens secondary coach Steve Spagnuolo.
