Five Ravens on The Hot Seat This Summer

Reading Time: < 1 minute

With summer officially underway, here are five Ravens who will feel the heat when training camp begins in July.

Joe Flacco, QB – He’s directing a new offense and is coming off a disappointing season in which he threw 22 interceptions. Outwardly, nothing seems to faze Flacco. But there’s no doubt the microscope will be on him in 2014. He needs to set the tone with a strong camp.

Gary Kubiak, offensive coordinator – With an impressive track record as an offensive coordinator, the early feedback on Kubiak’s offensive system has been nothing but positive. But if the offense sputters, even during preseason, guess who will get much of the blame? With Kubiak’s job, that comes with the territory.

Haloti Ngata, DT – He wants to finish his career with the Ravens, but they could save $8.5 million on the salary cap by cutting him next offseason. If Ngata wants a new cap-friendly deal like Terrell Suggs got, Ngata needs a healthy and productive 2014.
