This morning, FILMSTUDY called the current iteration of the Ravens’ offensive line the best in the NFL, saying that “Ravens fans should appreciate it while the unit is together and healthy.”
Well, unfortunately the time of the unit being together and healthy has already drawn to a close, as this afternoon the team dropped this tidbit on us from out of left field:
LT Eugene Monroe will have a minor surgical procedure on his knee. Out an undetermined amount of time.

That’s a bummer. John Harbaugh said that rookie James Hurst could be the “next man up.” Obviously, Monroe was not at practice, but nobody was expecting the surgery news, that’s for sure.
Here are the full practice injury reports from Wednesday as the Ravens get set to take on the Carolina Panthers Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
