Ravens/Browns Recap
The Ravens beat the Browns in an ugly game, where Billy Cundiff was the Billy Cundiff that we all remember. Joe Flacco improved his record against CLE to 12-1, and the Ravens snapped a 4-game road losing streak against division foes.
The Ravens allowed their first TD inside the red zone this season, and unfortunately Dennis Pitta is out for the season once again.
Rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro saw his first game action for 91 rushing yards and a TD. Johnny Manziel’s had an illegal “trick play,” and Jimmy Smith made a touchdown-saving tackle after Matt Elam forgot the rules.
This Weekend
The Ravens host the Carolina Panthers (2-1), who lost to Pittsburgh on Sunday night 37-19 when they accumulated 42 team rushing yards on 10 attempts.
The Ravens have only beaten the Panthers once in four regular season matchups, but Steve Smith Sr. is ready to face his former team.
Todd Heap will be inducted into the Ravens Ring of Honor at halftime.
