Haloti Ngata will be missed in Baltimore, but Ozzie Newsome received two draft picks for a player who the team may have released anyway.
Our Brian McFarland reports that the move gives the team just over $9M in cap space.
Sorry. Check that, following release of Ngata and Suggs’ restructure, Ravens have just over $9M in Cap space http://t.co/R9A7CPNrfg

Haloti has been a huge part of the Ravens’ defensive success since 2006. The Ravens will miss him along the defensive front, but the Salary Cap relief and the trade compensation is certainly worth it.
