Steve Bisciotti’s One Question to John Harbaugh

During his initial interview with John Harbaugh back in 2008 when the team was looking for a head coach, Steve Bisciotti asked Harbaugh a question which has resonated with Harbaugh to this day. The question was, “If, by a strange twist of fate, I gave you the job today but told you that you could only spend 100 hours in this facility from now until the kickoff of the first game, how would you spend those 100 hours?” I won’t give away the answer, but, as Garrett Downing of BaltimoreRavens.com explains, the response that Bisciotti wanted has driven how Harbaugh has coached the team through 7 years.

Ray Rice in Exile

Taking a turn from the lighet side of offseason news, Josh Dean of Men’s Fitness takes a hard look at what Ray Rice has done since TMZ released the footage of his wife and him inside of the elevator in Atlantic City. Through meeting and being around Ray Rice, Josh seems to struggle with whether or not he can consider the incident in Atlantic City a one time incident. Josh feels guilty that he believes Ray Rice due to “the intense societal pressure to hate Rice in perpetuity – or at least as long as he continues to want to play football.” This is one of the more fair and balanced looks I’ve seen on Ray Rice and his attempt to return to the NFL. Speedy WR Perriman has drawn Ravens’ interest

Clifton Brown of CSN Baltimore talks about Perriman’s pro day where he ran a 4.25 40-yard dash (wow) and how it has helped his draft stock. To go along with his top-end speed, Perriman uses his body very well. Before the pro day, he was projected to go in the early 2nd round in many drafts. Now, it’s doubtful that he makes it that far. He should be a day-one selection. LINK

NFL Draft Prospect Profile: WR Nelson Agholor

Kyle Rankin of Purple Reign Show takes a look at one of the more overlooked prospects in the upcoming draft, Nelson Agholor of USC. The biggest thing going against his stock is his size which guys like Antonio Brown have proven is not a necessity. LINK

LFW: Campanaro Top Candidate for Returner and @PlayerPositives

Ryan Mink wrote BaltimoreRavens.com’s Late for Work daily blog today. In it, he discusses how Campanaro is the top candidate to replace Jacoby Jones as the Ravens’ kick and punt returner. He also discusses our very own Brian Bower’s attempt at giving more coverage to the positive things that players do all the time. If you’re on Twitter, it will be worth the follow and the reminder that most NFL players are very good people. LINK
