Aaron Hernandez guilty of first-degree murder
The jury reached its verdict on the trial of former Patriots tight end, Aaron Hernandez. He has been found guilty for the murder of Odin Lloyd. This was widely considered the case that Hernandez was more likely to win. The other trial for double murder was scheduled to begin in May, but that will be pushed back. LINK
Newsome doesn’t mind disagreement about draft picks
Ravens General Manager Ozzie Newsome embraces disagreement among his staff. The Ravens’ brass goes into their big meetings with an open mind, willing to be criticized and express clashing opinions. Ravens long snapper Morgan Cox missed much of last season after going down with an torn ACL against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8. Now in the offseason, he’s doing charity events. In this video, he tries to snap the ball through his legs on a basketball court from past half-court. The court is a much smaller one designed for kids, but it’s still pretty impressive. LINK

He was arrested for driving while intoxicated shortly after being drafted by the Rams. He is now under investigation for allegedly murdering his cellmate. What a bullet the Ravens dodged there! LINK
