VIDEO: Perriman Hangs Up on Harbaugh in War Room

At the beginning of the call that the team made to Perriman as they were making the pick, Breshad seemed to know who was calling him, but he was afraid to come out and say it. Then, Ozzie handed the phone to John Harbaugh and Harbaugh hears silence on the other end. Apparently, Breshad Perriman was so excited to be drafted that he hung up on his head coach. John Harbaugh responds by saying, “I don’t want this to become a habit, man.” LINK

The Biggest Hole Every Team Still Must Fill After the Draft

I linked to the page with the Ravens’ biggest need, since this is one of those 33 page slideshows. Russell Baxter of Bleacher Report thinks that the Ravens’ biggest need after the draft is safety. He points to Matt Elam’s struggles to justify this statement. Then he asks whether Will Hill could see more playing time. Will Hill was the starter by the end of the season. I think it is safe to say that the answer to that question is yes. LINK

Report: Ravens Adding Undrafted Free Agents

The Ravens have added 10 players thus far from the pool of undrafted free agents. This might be a good list to bookmark for the rest of the offseason. There are some names that you might be familiar with if you watch college football which includes two Alabama prospects. LINK

Ravens Receive an “A” Draft Grade From CBS Sports

Among the highest grades received from Pete Prisco of CBS Sports is the Ravens’ ‘A’ grade. These grades are probably the most meaningless things in all of sports, but I still like reading analysts praise the Ravens. Although, it becomes a bit more meaningless when it’s also lumped together with praise for the Jaguars.

Report: Steelers were ready to draft Maxx Williams before Ravens traded up

By now, you may have heard this report. The Ravens traded up in front of the Steelers in order to nab Maxx Williams. Of course if it was any team that would have picked the tight end from Minnesota, the Ravens would have traded up, but it makes it that much sweeter that it was the Steelers. LINK
