Deal with it – Tom Brady and the Patriots are cheaters
Consider this reader impressed by Dan Shaughnessy’s honesty. He writes for the Boston Globe. He has been named Massachusetts sports writer of the year eleven times. And he thinks that the Patriots are cheaters. In this wonderfully written message to his fellow New Englanders, he says that the Patriots are “howling at the moon,” and that “Planet Patriot orbits in an alternate universe.” This is probably the best thing I’ve read on Deflategate. He doesn’t question her knowledge of football, but does wonder whether players will respond to her. He says that football may be the one sport where no one would respond to a female coach. LINK
Eric Berry cleared for Chiefs’ training camp 8 months after lymphoma diagnosis
For some good news out of the NFL, Eric Berry, the Kansas City safety, has been cleared for camp according to ESPN’s Adam Teicher. After having a good start to the season, he felt chest discomfort after a game against the Raiders. He has battled fiercely, and now he will get back to doing what he loves. LINK
