Wild Stallions: How A Team From Baltimore Rocked Canadian Football

As someone who doesn’t remember much from the two years the Stallions were here (I was 2-3 years old), this was a great read. Erik Malinowski of Rolling Stone tells the story of how a team from Baltimore took Canada by storm, nearly winning the Grey Cup in 1994, and winning it the next season, the year that Art Modell announced he was moving his Browns to Baltimore. The team had the highest attendance of any American team in the CFL, which led to its own demise.

It took 20 years for the Stallions to have their parade.

Joe disagreed, saying, “Maybe they weren’t all bad decisions, but I would say that I’ve probably made more bad decisions, and that’s why there’s a little bit more of them.”

Ravens rookie WR Perriman on injury: Hardest thing I’ve ever gone through

Clifton Brown of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports on Breshad Perriman’s press conference from yesterday. Perriman seemed as though he was just as optimistic about his return as the rest of us were throughout the process. He insisted that his Osgood-Schlatter disease has nothing to do with the injury.

Five reasons to care about Rams at Ravens

At this point in the season, it can be hard to get yourself psyched for Sundays. Clifton Brown gives us five reasons why you should. A few of those – watching Todd Gurley and Tavon Austin‘s homecoming, Ed Reed’s Ring of Honor induction – are certainly worth getting excited about.
