Sunday will mark the third consecutive season that the Ravens have traveled to Sun Life Stadium to take on the Miami Dolphins.
During a blistering afternoon on October 6, 2013 the Ravens shook off a sluggish start to eventually take a 26-23 lead on a 44-yard field goal by Justin Tucker with 1:42 remaining. But they had to fight off a late Ryan Tannehill-led rally to secure the win.
On December 7, 2014 with a playoff berth on the line, the Ravens fell behind early 10-0 but with 8 seconds remaining in the first half Joe Flacco hit Steve Smith on a 1-yard TD pass to pull the Ravens within 3. The second half was all Ravens as the hosts could only manage another 3 points. The Ravens left Miami as 28-13 winners and owners of an (8-5) record.
This season, less is at stake. Neither team has a playoff berth at stake. Pride and in many cases NFL futures will fuel the competition on the field.
