This Tweet has since been deleted, but it deserves recognition for how idiotic it is. Ed Benkin is a sports reporter for KYW NewsRadio, a Philadelphia-based CBS radio affiliate, and is apparently out of touch with reality, at least on this topic. To all of those who may be concerned: Harbaugh isn’t going anywhere, nor should he. There is no need to worry, especially with how well Harbaugh has kept this team together through the adversity of this season.

Since then, Benkin has posted this.

Just own up to it, Ed. You meant to send it; you just didn’t realize how stupid of a thought it was.

Courtney Upshaw owes Jimmy Smith a steak dinner after pick-6 error

Peter Hailey of CSN Mid-Atlantic talks about the interception returned for a touchdown that was called back due to Courtney Upshaw lining up offsides. He was dejected about it after the game and simply asked Jimmy Smith, “Steak dinner?” He certainly owes him one; it was a colossally stupid penalty.

Ravens enjoy first injury-free game of the season

Sunday’s game was one worthy of celebration for a number of reasons. As Jamison Hensley of ESPN points out, it was the first game in which the Ravens have suffered no injuries all season, against the Steelers no less. That alone should make Ravens fans smile… What a sad year it’s been.

Ravens Season Finale Moved To Fox

The season finale has been cross-flexed to Fox from CBS. Thom Brennaman, Charles Davis, and retired Ravens DT Tony Siragusa will be on the sideline again. In the past, this wouldn’t have made much sense, considering Fox typically carries the NFC’s games. But the NFL has made an effort to have games whose meaningfulness is dependent upon another game be played at the same time. The Broncos game in the late afternoon slate will be meaningful regardless. Even with a Bengals loss, Denver still could end up as a wild card if they lose and the Chiefs win.

When asked for comment regarding this, Harbaugh said, “About two weeks ago, I could just tell he wasn’t going to get back, so I kind of gave up hope and I think he did, too..I’m not sure why Ozzie didn’t put him on IR.” It’s odd for Ozzie and Harbaugh to not be on the same page. I’m with Harbs, though. Marlon should have been on IR a while ago.

The ranking of the top 10 rookie sack totals through Week 16 of the 2015 NFL season.

As a Reddit user pointed out, Za’Darius Smith now ranks third among rookies in sacks, ahead of notable picks like Vic Beasley, Shane Ray, and Bud Dupree, all of whom were drafted in the first round. There is plenty of room for improvement in Smith’s game, but his numbers aren’t far behind the top pass rushers of his class.
