Roster Moves

The Ravens activated Lorenzo Taliaferro today from the Physically Unable to Perform list to their 53-man roster, general manager and executive vice president Ozzie Newsome announced. Additionally, Baltimore elevated CB Robertson Daniel from the practice squad to the active roster.

To make room for these moves, the Ravens placed S Kendrick Lewis (thigh) on Injured Reserve and waived TE Daniel Brown.

In his third NFL season, Taliaferro has seen action in 16 career games, producing 339 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 81 carries (4.2 avg.). He has added 13 receptions for 143 yards and five special teams tackles. Taliaferro was placed on Injured Reserve with a foot injury on Oct. 14, 2015 prior to beginning the 2016 campaign on the PUP list.

Daniel has not appeared in an NFL game after entering the league as a 2015 rookie free agent with the Oakland Raiders. Baltimore signed him to its practice squad on Oct. 13 after he was waived from the Washington Redskins’ practice squad.
