Another week, another win. We absolutely slayed it last week, once again. We have been on one hell of a roll and with the fantasy playoffs kicking off this week (in one of my leagues) I am all that much more confident. I waited until Saturday to get this out because between all the Covid drama, injuries, and hectic scheduling changes, there was no way I could give you picks with confidence any earlier. So, I let the dust settle. Because there is nothing in life that is more important than winning fantasy football.
Let’s talk the stakes here. I am just as invested in getting all of you to a championship as I am getting myself there. And I have a three-peat championship on the line. So you know damn well I’m bringing the fire yet again! On top of that, I just knocked my league-mate out of the playoffs by literally ONE point. I LIVE off of this sh*t and I am bloodthirsty for more domination!
Taking a quick look back last week, we hit on almost all of our picks again! Some of our best picks were bust weeks for Aaron Jones and Melvin Gordon as well as a BOOM week for Deshaun Watson. Our worst picks were easily taking Mike Williams and Michael Pittman as boom players.
Ravens-Cowboys Fantasy Outlook
Start ‘Em
J.K. Dobbins
I am extremely bullish on Dobbins this week. Partially because I think he is potentially the best RB the Ravens have had since Ray Rice (and I think he will be better than Rice) but also because of the matchup. Dobbins took control of the Ravens’ crowded backfield two weeks ago in a breakout performance. So much so that Mark Ingram did not get a touch after the first quarter of the game. All Ravens fans are hoping for Dobbins to take the clear lead back role that he has proven he deserves. Dobbins will also be running against a poor Dallas defense that just let Antonio Gibson run all over them, going for 115 yards and three TDs on 20 carries. If Dobbins takes back his role as the #1 RB, he will not disappoint.
Amari Cooper
With Andy Dalton back, Cooper’s fantasy relevance has been revived. Last week, Cooper had eight targets that he turned into 112 yards and a TD against a solid Washington defense. We all know the Ravens are an elite defense, but Cooper will have the targets and has the talent to make some plays this week.
Streamin’ Around the League
QB: Kirk Cousins
Kirk is taking on a Jacksonville team that is struggling on both sides of the ball, but especially on defense. The Jags are bottom-four in the league in all facets of defense (32nd in overall defense), so the Vikings will have no issues getting down to the Red Zone and scoring often. In fact, the Vikings have the highest implied point total on the week at 31.5 points. To put some icing on the cake, the Jags let up the 3rd most points to opposing fantasy QBs. The Vikings will be firing on all cylinders this week with the return of Adam Thielen and a healthy Dalvin Cook who has been removed from the injury report. This game should be a bloodbath and a lot of the blood will be on Kirk’s hands.

RB: Devontae Booker
This is kind of a chalk pick, but that doesn’t make Booker any less of a solid play this week. With Josh Jacobs officially ruled out this week against the Jets, Booker should see most of the action. The Jets rank 29th in overall defense and give up the 10th most points to fantasy RBs. Also keep in mind, we are talking about the Jets. The Raiders have an implied point total of 27.5 points and they also rank 2nd worst in the league in pass defense. So the Raiders will get down the field with ease. If they get down inside the five-yard line, Booker is running that ball into the end zone.
There is also a very good chance the Raiders get ahead quick in this game. So the Raiders will be utilizing Booker to chew some clock as well.
WR: Michael Pittman
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and I’m an idiot. I am going back to Pittman yet again. He is an uber talented rookie going against an atrocious Houston defense that is 30th in pass defense, 28th in overall defense, and allows the 7th most points to opposing fantasy WRs.
I know, Pittman only caught two balls for 28 yards last week. But he also got nine targets. I believe that the Pittman is a crucial part to this teams success and he will continue to be heavily involved. There is no way he does not get back on track this week in this high scoring shootout.
TE: Kyle Rudolph
With Irv Smith ruled out this week, all of the TE targets should be funneled through Rudolph. The Jags give up the 5th most fantasy points to TEs and as I mentioned before, they blow as a team across the board. Last week with Irv’s injury, Rudolph was targeted eight times and caught seven of them for 68 yards. In this high scoring game, he is a strong candidate for yards and a TD or two.
