As much fun as it was to watch Super Wild Card Weekend, I couldn’t help but be a little bummed out. Don’t get me wrong, watching the Patriots and Steelers each get humiliated did my heart good. Next time you hear a Steelers fan critique Lamar’s passing game, remind them that their beloved franchise QB’s final game saw him post a whopping 24 yards in the first half. Still, it felt a little empty without our guys in it, so I began to wonder: what are our boys up to this weekend?

In Marlon Humphrey’s case, he was backing his good buddy and former Raven Matt Judon as the Patriots battled the Bills. Buffalo took home an emphatic win, but Marlon was quick to give his old running mate some love.

And for those of you with keener eyes: yes, Judon’s profile picture is Marlon Humphrey wearing his Patriots #9 jersey. That’s a wholesome bromance right there.

Elsewhere, Tyus Bowser is on the mend after surgery to repair a torn Achilles suffered in the final game of the regular season.

Looks like was using his recovery time to tune into the Cowboys-Niners game, and he was on the edge of his seat with the rest of us at the end.

He wasn’t the only Raven tuned into the NFC Wildcard showdown, as DeShon Elliott chimed in with simple but effective assessment.

*cough cough USE DEVIN DUVERNAY LIKE THIS NEXT SEASON cough cough*

Elsewhere, another former Raven in Ryan Jensen was making his impact felt for the Buccaneers as they steamrolled the Eagles, but was shaken up on a scoring play with what appeared to be a high-ankle injury.

His status for the Tampa Bay’s next game is up in the air at the time of his article. Tampa has experienced a litany of injuries late in the season, and Jensen’s absence could be huge as they try to defend their title.

It wasn’t all bad news for former Baltimore guys, as Joe Flacco celebrated his 37th birthday and spent some time with his family- wait, what?

“Sit down, son, and I’ll tell you the story of how I got named Super Bowl MVP. Wayyyyy back in 2012…”

Joe may have had a great time celebrating with his adopted son, but this weekend’s award for Best Celebration has to go to Kyle Juszczyk, who got to celebrate San Fran’s win with a heavy dose of slime.

Go off, big guy. I don’t know what the freezing point is for slime, but the crew over at Nick might want to keep some slime warmed up in Green Bay in case the Niners pull a big upset.
