Wow! What a start to the week we’ve had for NFL fans! Aaron Rodgers is staying in Green Bay; Russell Wilson is headed to Mile High; franchise tags have been placed… So much went on in such a short period that we can’t help but to show our excitement for the best part of the offseason!

But we aren’t here to talk about other teams. No, we’re here to talk about the Baltimore Ravens.

With Free Agency set to kick off a week from today, you better believe that the Flock is growing in major anticipation for the new league year to begin. Let’s check out what the Flock is up to this week for this edition of Out to Lunch:

Are you new to the scouting world? Not to worry, Joe Hortiz breaks it down for you learners here:

It’s awesome to have a point of reference like Joe! Now, please don’t leave us…

Free Agency is just around the corner. The Ravens have plenty of needs, but they do have one thing set…

Baltimore has itself a rock-solid roster and if everyone returns to form after so many devastating injuries, this is as dangerous a team as there is the league. Most importantly, the Ravens have Lamar Jackson quarterbacking the team. So long as Jackson is behind center, fans should be confident that the Ravens can field a team to beat anybody they’re up against.

It’s the best time of the year, folks. #ComeToTheRavens is in full effect and Tony Jefferson has wasted no time recruiting. Better yet, he wants to get the band back together!

Ryan Jensen was a long-time member of the Ravens, being drafted by the team back in 2013 and playing in Baltimore up until 2017. Jensen left Charm City to head down to Tampa Bay and eventually win a Super Bowl snapping the ball for Tom Brady. His presence has been sorely missed in Baltimore, as he aged like a fine wine and has become one of the best centers in football. Fans would certainly welcome back the best bouncer in the league. For those who may have forgotten…

A fan can dream, right?

This is an absolutely INSANE idea following the release of Bobby Wagner from the Seattle Seahawks. Adding one of these players would be huge. Adding two of them would be unbelievable. Three would be unreal. All four would be impossible!

But again, a fan can dream, right?

Speaking of Wagner being cut by the Seahawks, our good friends over at Jimmy’s Famous Seafood are already on top of their sales pitch to #ComeToTheRavens:

The Ravens have a big need at linebacker with the uncertainty of Malik Harrison as a full-time starter next to Patrick Queen. Queen has also played his best football when he has a veteran next to him. Wagner is that veteran and then a whole lot more. The future Hall of Fame defender has notched 100+ tackles in each of his ten seasons in the league. Wagner is also a Super Bowl champ and a six-time First-Team All-Pro. His addition to this Baltimore defense would be astronomical.

Who are the Baltimore Ravens going to draft with the 14th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft? If Daniel Jeremiah over at NFL Network has any idea (like he did last year), it may be another edge rusher:

Baltimore would love to get another young, quick, powerful edge rusher opposite Odafe Oweh for the long run. Jermaine Johnson from Florida State checks all the boxes off as a freak athlete after showing out the NFL Scouting Combine. Pairing him with Oweh sounds like nightmare fuel for opposing quarterbacks.

Before we sign off for today, a quick shout out to all the amazing women in our lives!

Yesterday was International Women’s Day and the Baltimore Ravens Twitter account made an awesome tribute video to celebrate the occasion. There are too many wonderful women to mention, and we just want to extend out our gratefulness to all of you!

Until next time, Ravens Flock!
