Happy Friday, Flock Nation! Did anything interesting happen last night?
The Ravens really got Kyle Hamilton and Tyler Linderbaum last night pic.twitter.com/rLFC5hXakU

Oh yeah, the Ravens drafted the best safety and the best center in this year’s draft class, and both prospects would have a claim at the same title in most of the drafts over the last 10 years.
The Kyle Hamilton pick earned rave reviews on social media, including from Richard Sherman.
Great Fit for the @Ravens! Love to see @kyledhamilton_ go to a place that has done a great job developing guys

Sherman said the Ravens should be “jumping out of their shoes” on Bleacher Report last night before adding this tweet praising the selection.
It’s ironic that Sherman is such a big fan of the pick, considering the Ravens have established arguably the best starting secondary since Seattle’s Legion of Boom with the addition of Hamilton.

With two All-Pro corners and now two of the NFL’s best young safeties, the Ravens are making it clear that they do not want to get burned by the deep ball the way they did in 2021.
DeCosta said that he never dreamed in a million years that Kyle Hamilton would be available at 14. Said it was a no-brainer decision when he was.

And while this was happening, the Ravens’ blockbuster trade for Hollywood Brown was going down, which got quite a reception from Steve Smith Sr., himself a former Ravens receiver.

Since Hollywood wanted out, the Ravens did a fantastic job maximizing the value in his trade.
Marquise Brown is going to produce a lot better in Arizona. The situation/system in Baltimore wasn't ideal for his skillset.
I still don't think he's worth what they gave up, but it's a better fit AND really benefits the Cardinals in the Kyler Murray negotiations.

Yes, they gave up the 100th pick, but they got a first-rounder back for a player they spent a first-rounder on three years ago!
They then turned around and used that 25th pick on Tyler Linderbaum, earning even more rave reviews.
For the Ravens to get the best player in the draft at 14, and the guy I kept mocking to them at 14 at 25… wow.

Tyler Linderbaum.
One thing you can count on is the @Ravens grabbing the baddest dudes on the planet every year.
He has Jason Kelce potential. I don’t care about his size, he dominates.

And now, Baltimore has eight picks in the next three rounds. There’s a lot of fireworks to come, folks.
