Happy July, Flock Nation. We’re another month closer to having our Ravens back out on the football field, but the whole organization has been excelling in the meantime.
Congratulations to our Ravens Production crew on taking home three Emmys at this year's Capital Emmy Awards. 🏆 https://t.co/kX1u0pFzm2

The Ravens Production team was nominated for nine Capital Emmys, bringing home the hardware for three outstanding videos. The team’s pregame hype videos were a consistent bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season last year, and I can’t wait to see what the production crew puts together for the 2022 comeback/revenge tour. I have a feeling Chuck Clark’s end of year “watch how we bounce back” will make an appearance.
After all, this team does best when they’re doubted. Think back to 2012, when Baltimore had to fight like hell just to make the playoffs, and virtually no one thought they could make a deep run.

But they didn’t forget the disappointment of how the 2011 season ended, and used that to drive them to bring home a Lombardi Trophy. Let’s hope they have the same motivation this year.
Speaking of hardware, check out Ed Reed’s one-of-a-kind Zoom background when he talked to the Ravens’ 2022 rookie class.

That’s a real power move to have your Hall of Fame bust in the background as you dispense lessons of life and football to players just entering the league. If Kyle Hamilton wasn’t already aware of the legacy he has to live up to, he definitely knows now.
Now that we’re in July, we can start one of my favorite parts of the NFL season: playing mock GM with roster construction.

Beyond Lamar Jackson's contract, when the rehabbing Ravens return is probably biggest story in camp:https://t.co/OlTlWdBarW— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) June 30, 2022
This year, most of the questions revolve around Baltimore’s offense, like:
- Could the Ravens carry more tight ends/fullbacks than wide receivers? (Possible, but more likely they hold onto an UDFA WR like Jaylon Moore or Binjamen Victor.)
- How will the team split their RB workload with J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards coming off ACL tears? (One or both will start on the PUP list, giving Mike Davis, Justice Hill and Tyler Badie an opportunity to carve out their role in the backfield).
- How will the offensive line shake out? (This revolves around Stanley’s health, but my personal prediction, from left to right, is Stanley/Phillips/Linderbaum/Zeitler/Moses.)
We’ll learn more about the team’s plans after training camp starts later this month, but by all indications, we’re headed for a very exciting season of football in Baltimore!
