Quick observations from RSR head honcho Tony Lombardi from today’s session at 1 Winning Drive.
#Ravens are wearing full pads today. So far they’ve just run through some special-teams drills. Most notable absentees at the moment appear to be Patrick Queen and Devin Duvernay. #CampNotes

(note: see below tweet. Queen was in fact practicing.)

Deep pass from Lamar to Makai Polk intercepted by Damarion Williams

Isaiah Likely plays like a vet. He finds holes in the defense and has been among the most sure-handed players on the team. He caught one long pass down the middle of the field with Kyle Hamilton covering.

Hamilton had an up and down day. He was beaten a few times but also registered a couple of PD’s.

Impressed by the development of Broderick Washington. He posted a sack of Tyler Huntley today.

Rashod Bateman had a very good day, free of drops while registering a few catches for scores. The long one from 72 yards out and then a couple of red zone scores. He and Lamar are developing quite a rapport.

Shemar Bridges looks like the most likely candidate of the UDFA WR’s to make the team, based on camp so far. He’s a big target but runs very well & has some suddenness to him. That was on full display during our one on one drills when he planted his left foot to gain separation.

You could tell that Urban was enjoying today’s performance because while waiting for the offense to come out of the huddle he stood still at the line of scrimmage playing air guitar to Ozzy Osbourne’s crazy train.

Binjimen Victor made a nice play during scrimmaging, hauling in a nice back shoulder throw from Tyler Huntley. Kevon Seymour was on the coverage. It was Huntley‘s best throw of the day.

Huntley has struggled during camp. Previously John Harbaugh said that due to tendinitis in his shoulder he was on a pitch count. That no longer seems to be the case but his passes do seem to lack zip. There’s a dramatic fall off from Lamar to the rest of the quarterback field.

I will have a complete set of camp notes later this evening. I will also be sure to address the questions presented to me earlier today. I do appreciate those!
