Good morning Flock! DA here filling in for Ron on this fine Monday. Let’s see what the weekend brought us (other than yet another preseason Ravens victory of course)…

Speaking of that victory, let’s get to the highlights, as most key starters sat out yet again, while bubble players continued to make their cases for the final roster, while also hoping to put some plays on film for their potential next team, should they fail to make the cut in Baltimore.

We’ll start with the star of the show, rookie TE Isaiah Likely, who hauled in all eight of his targets for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Quite the showing for the kid, who will … fine…likely… be resting when the team takes the field for their final preseason game on Saturday. What else does he have to show at this point?

We saw what can happen in these darn preseason games a bit later, as fellow rookie Travis Jones was on the ground in pain late in the game. Jones, who has impressed this summer, walked off under his own power, and we later got this update from Harbs:

Good news there, but man…preseason! Ugh.

Let’s turn now to yet another rookie who found paydirt in the desert, running back Tyler Badie.

Not to be outdone, two other rookies connected, as WR Raleigh Webb caught this (very impressive) pass from Anthony Brown and took it to the house.

One rookie who didn’t score a touchdown was punter Jordan Stout, though he was actually rumored to have…

Somehow, we still have another rookie highlight for you, as Damarion “Pepe” Williams picked off a pass in the third quarter.

As mentioned above, the Ravens’ final preseason contest is this Saturday evening back home, as they take on the Redsk…Football Tea…Commanders.

The rookies will again be leaned on heavily to continue the preseason dynasty that is the Baltimore Ravens.
