All offseason Andrew Vorhees has had the LG1 spot locked up, but fans aren’t convinced. Did he change their minds yesterday?
Lets dive in!
Thanks Cole. So it looks like Vorhees is improving and it will be a work in progress. He appears to be getting some coaching.
Once the season starts and he’s in between Lindy and Stanley, I think he will continue to make strides. Have so much confidence in Lindy at C. Noticed so often in the preseason how the help was going to RG Faalele’s side.
I think we’ll be OK as the season goes along but still worried about the right side. Thanks again and enjoy your views.
Good analysis Cole. I think he looks pretty good. I still think, and you gave one example, that the RB are doing a poor job of finding holes and making the correct cut, more than poor line play. I also used thi tape to watch Faalele, and at least on the plays you showed he was excellent. He put guys on the ground, and nobody got much off the line in pass pro.
It looks like the Knee injury may have robbed Vorhees of some leg flexibility. With more coaching and Physical therapy, we hope he can get lower as he recovers. His upper body strength is off the scale so Vorhees will have to compensate with hand technique.
