Happy Wednesday, Ravens Flock! OTAs have officially begun for the Baltimore Ravens and the team’s Twitter account has had tons of fun posting content including highlights from camp as well as plenty of interviews to give us the juice we need as the offseason comes closer and closer to a dead period. But until then, it’s time to once again go Out to Lunch and take a look at all the greatness we got to witness from the Baltimore Ravens first day of OTAs!

This comes as great news for the Ravens, who have yet to extend Jackson for the long-term. Of course, Jackson hardly seems worried about it, and it obviously shows with him not holding out this offseason and instead showing up to OTAs and getting in rhythm with his teammates.

We absolutely love to see Jackson back on the football field and preparing for a comeback tour in 2022 for the Baltimore Ravens. Definitely expect to see QB1 rebound this year and replant the Ravens’ flag as a Super Bowl contender.
Tons of players are returning from injury for the Ravens in 2022, including the team’s dynamic one-two punch at running back in the forms of JK Dobbins and Gus Edwards.

When these two are on the field, they’re as great as any running back duo in football. It’ll be a massive boon for Baltimore’s offense again in 2022.

Justin Tucker is undoubtedly the best at his job and this stat not only proves it, but is simply mind-boggling. 326 made field goals over the last 10 seasons is ridiculous, especially when you consider that he’s attempted 358 field goals, giving him an NFL record 91.1% success rate. Even more insane is that second place is a whopping 62 (!!) field goals made behind Tucker. I’d say that’s as sizeable a gap as you’ll ever see.
With a Super Bowl championship, five Pro Bowls, and seven All-Pro honors (five First-Team) on his resume, Tucker’s claim as “the GOAT” is stronger than any of his competitors, and he still has a long career remaining ahead of him at just 32-years old.
We’re still stunned that Kyle Hamilton fell to the Ravens with the 14th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, but we certainly aren’t complaining!

Just like the caption says, Hamilton is about to put the league on notice and make the ten teams who drafted ahead of Baltimore and pass on Hamilton regret doing so.
In some unfortunate news, the Ravens have officially parted ways with Derek Wolfe:

Wolfe was recently recovering from his second hip surgery in the last year and was set to make $2 million in 2022. Wolfe and Baltimore officially came to an injury settlement with the 10-year veteran and it seems likely that he could retire from the NFL. RSR cap guru Brian McFarland believes it likely wasn’t a totally amicable divorce.

Back to positivity, many believe that second-year man Rashod Bateman is in store for a breakout year in 2022, and the guys over at Pro Football Focus seem to be on board with it:

Bateman recorded 46 receptions for 515-yards and a single touchdown his rookie season while missing five games due to injury. Following the trade of Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals, Bateman will enter the 2022 season as the team’s number one receiver and there’s plenty of reason to believe that the 2021 first-round draft choice will find a way to live up to the hype he generated during his draft process.
Speaking of breakout Ravens from the 2021 season, many are equally, if no more, excited for the development of Odafe Oweh, including NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger:

While the 2000s have seen a plethora of elite linebackers, none of them compare in the slightest to the greatness that has been Ray Lewis. This is a slam dunk and we’re happy to see many agree with this sentiment.
