Hello once again, Ravens Flock! I hope the times are treating you well during this offseason, but there have been a myriad of storylines to watch unfold throughout the league and even for our own beloved Baltimore Ravens. The Pro Bowl is around the corner and something very controversial involving a Ravens player has happened.

Meanwhile, what’s going on with the Lamar Jackson situation and what dominoes are falling around the NFL? That’s what we’re here to discuss, so let’s not waste anymore time and go Out to Lunch and see what’s happening in the Twitter-verse!

The biggest update on the Lamar situation is that there is no update. There is speculation that Jackson is in line for the exclusive franchise tag this offseason, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

This shouldn’t come as any surprise whatsoever, and this was always to be expected.

That being said, it was three years ago today that Jackson won the NFL’s second-ever unanimous MVP.

Man, that outfit went hard…

I know that we would all love nothing more than for Lamar to come back in 2023 and have the best supporting cast he’s ever had. To think of his accomplishments that he’s had throughout his football career despite mediocre surrounding talent is remarkable to say the least; however…

Get the man the help he deserves and let’s keep him in Baltimore for life.

As fans, we firmly believe that every year is an opportunity for the Ravens to go and win a Super Bowl. It’s hard not to believe this when you have a team as talented as the Ravens field every year, but it doesn’t seem as though we’re the only ones thinking this right now.

This isn’t something to take lightly, as Demarcus Robinson has been a part of some special teams during his NFL career, including the Super Bowl LIV champion Kansas City Chiefs. For Robinson to say this, he obviously feels that things are going right for the Ravens’ future and perhaps he knows something that we don’t?

Robinson played a large role for the Ravens in 2022 with a banged up wide receiver corps, as he led the position in receptions and yards. Many Ravens fans have expressed their interest in him returning for 2023 after playing a solid role for the team in 2022. Perhaps he also has some share interest in a return?

The Pro Bowl has long been considered a joke amongst NFL fans, but this year may have gotten a bit out of control. After the three voted-in quarterbacks, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow, stepped down from the event for various reasons, it became time for the alternates to come in. However, the top three alternates, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson, and Tua Tagovailoa, are all sitting out as well. That can only mean one thing…

Tyler Huntley is a Pro Bowl quarterback.

Obviously, the internet had an absolute field day with this and the tweets are absolutely hysterical.

Look, we are all very happy for Tyler on this accomplishment, but there is absolutely no denying that this is a questionable decision at best…

That being said, if it means we get to do this to Cincinnati Bengals fans, then I am here for it:

As we end this edition of Out to Lunch, a quick cheers to the great Tom Brady on his official retirement from the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens Twitter account put this out in light of the news:

Congrats on an amazing career, Mr. Brady and thank you for all the memories both good and bad. But of course, thank you for this most importantly…

Have a great week, Ravens Flock, and keep those notifications on with hopes of some good news for our beloved NFL team!
