The Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson announce that they’ve agreed in principle to a new five-year contract extension.
Our long national nightmare is over, #RavensFlock!

Could our Draft have started off any sweeter?
This should allow the Ravens to reduce Jackson's 2023 $32.416M Cap number by $5-15M. Could be more if they were to use a void yr or two. https://t.co/QVSh1I0t3A

Now, let’s sit back and watch how the team chooses to surround their locked-in franchise QB with talent.
As LJ says, let’s get it.

Our long national nightmare (at least for Ravens fans) is over.
So is my #LamarFatigue.
Idle thought of the day: Wondering how JLC is going to cover his tracks on this one……
i understand tht this was a national sports story..but the reaction of the national media(not baltimore media…the nfl network crew in particular)is very odd…like they just hit the lottery…..they totally internalized the situation…
very weird watching the coverage…it`s like media new years eve…they really thought that the ravens should gut the franchise to give jackson an absurd, guaranteed amount of money…
YAY. WTG FO and Lamar. We finally got a deal done. I must admit I was wrong on this one. I thought this was going to drag on until June-July but very happy there is an agreement. Now onto the draft and maybe some off-season acquisitions. Just feeling alot of relief and good vibes now. Let’s go RAVENS!
