The good news is last couple days it’s being reported the 24/25 Salary cap may jump all the way up to 250mil. If that’s the case that’ll help Ravens offset 8mil in void years dead cap and after restructures& further cuts like Bowser etc be able to make what moves they need to make. Whether it’s tag/extension for Madubuike or fill some holes through bargain shopping market-OL,RB,WR, pass rushers etc.
As far as Void years it felt like it was more of a mechanism needed bc suppressed cap due to covid, but as we get back to normal it’ll be used selectively. Only for certain HOF Type veterans who are seeking high AAV but 1-2 year deals that can get you over the top of SB. Void years help spread it out.
